Swim Class and Yardwork

My parents wanted Whitney to take a swim class this summer. I'm so glad we did. He has really come a long way. I realized the first day we were going to have to take it a little slower than everyone else. He HATES going underwater but by the end he was excited about blowing bubbles. Baby steps.

 

We sang songs, splashed around, practiced his kickers and backfloats.

 

This was the worst! He was supposed to jump into my arms, then I'm supposed to dunk him underwater. Let's just say neither happened very often.

Whitney is my dad's little sidekick outside. He loves to help with the yardwork. Here he is following my dad around.
